yes, a seven hours on my way from minneapolis to warszawa. My flighjts were rebooked a number of times, I spent almost 30 hrs doing the trip, but visiting amsterdam during seven of them makes things very tulipy and lovely :)
In June I revisited one of my favourite places in the world, Innsbruck, together with a couple of friends. We spent four days hiking, talking and enjoying the local food, beer and wine. I also visited Tyrolia in search for a book about bread baking and purchased "Brot" by Bernd Armbrust.
I have probably been baking bread on ten occasions in my life so far. During the last months I had a feeling that this is something that I maybe should learn a little bit better. Hence the book.
I really appreciate, as a novice, the German simpliness and love for bread that is conveyed by the author. I decided to go with each of the recepies in the book to discover the bread palet of Herr Armbrust. When I am done, I guess I will either use the recepies we liked the most again, or try to alter them in order to create new pieces according to our taste in flavour, structure, aroma and occasional wickedness.
This blog is an aswer to a request by two people, who had a suggestion that I describe my adventures and creations in the form of a blog: my wife Daria and my friend Albert.

Nice stuff, as usual.
One thing I don't get though: what's with all these photos from Amsterdam? Paid a visit very recently?
